Hi, this is David, the owner of Dryer Vent Wizard.

I am a fifth generation Oregonian from pioneer stock that settled in the Applegate Valley. I was born and raised in Grants Pass and came to the Portland area after I graduated from Purdue in 1980. Our daughters were raised in Beaverton except for a 4-year ex-pat assignment in Australia. When I am not working on the business, Jan and I enjoy cooking and entertaining friends, camping around the great Pacific Northwest, and occasionally travelling to see our daughters and grandkids in either Washington DC or Sydney Australia. I am also a big Purdue Boilermaker fan of any sport.

After 36 years in corporate America and a few years managing a medical non-profit, we decided to give business ownership a try. I wanted to find a business where I could make the decisions and run the operation myself, but have the backing and expertise I enjoyed while working for a major corporation. During my search, the opportunity to purchase the local Dryer Vent Wizard franchise presented itself.

Dryer Vent Wizard of West Portland has a simple and to-the-point mission statement. We provide the best possible dryer vent cleaning, repair and/or installation experience that you can have by hiring only happy and personable employees. This statement drives our culture and decision making process as everything we do is to keep our clients safe and satisfied with the service experience.

We are active members of Beaverton, Tigard, and Hillsboro Chambers of Commerce. We attempt to attend majority of community events and outings throughout the year. In addition, we raise money for the Children’s Burn Foundation through various activities.
