Flames yesterday destroyed a house on Rock Mill Run, killing
two dogs inside, police said.
A neighbor spotted smoke and reported the blaze at 10:29 a.m.
The house was engulfed in flames when officers and firefighters
arrived, police said.
Firefighters from Montgomery, Rocky Hill, Hopewell and Hillsborough
fought the fire.
Police said the house was destroyed.
No one was home at the time but the family's two dogs perished,
police said.
Police said the preliminary investigation indicates the fire
started in the area of the home's clothes dryer.
